Fun, Fun, FUN

Everyday at the Williams house is more interesting and fun! Sophia is learning so many new things and changing every day! She is currently pulling up on everything in the house. She can stand on her own for a few seconds. She loves to look to see where things are- her fave is checking to see what is in her toy box, then she might put things back in. She laughs so much, anything seems to make her giggle. She loves to say daa-daa, goos and gas, but now she has added mmmmaaa (YAY!!!) and ssss. She is also starting to eat with her fingers. She has cut another tooth for a total of 6- WOW! Doctor says she will have 8 by Christmas. Sophia loves the babysitter and her son~ she has so much fun there that she doesnt want to nap any more, and often has to take a quick nap when we get home after her bottle.

Thinking about Christmas~ we are torn on whether to put up a tree. I really am worried that she will try to pull up on that too!! Oh, my! Right now, no tree, but I can't imagine Christmas without one, so we will see what the next few weeks will hold and if our decision stays the same.

Here are some pics Doug took last weekend! They are so good, really he could be a professional! ENJOY!!!!

4 AM!?!?!?!

I just had to share this! The other night, Sophia was crying at 4:00. While this happens sometimes, she usually falls back asleep and we don't hear from her again until later. This particular morning, there was no going back to sleep from the tone in her crying. I went downstairs to make a bottle. When I came back up, I turned the light on low and behold- there was Sophia standing up in her crib. I think that she couldn't figure out how to sit back down since it was pitch dark. It was so cute! There she was tears streaming down her face, and as soon as she saw me a huge smile came over her face. Plus I had the bottle which she gobbled down, and back to sleep it was.

Nine Months!!!!

Sophia is 9 months old tomorrow! She hasn't been feeling the best, so I went ahead and took her to the doctor today. She is currently 29 inches long and 22 pounds and 5 ounces! Wow!!! She is certainly growing quickly. She also has an ear infection in both ears :( but this does not seem to bother her a whole lot. She is still smiley and happy as usual, and sleeping through the night through all of it. I think the ear infections are the result of the 5 teeth she is currently getting. Mommy and Daddy only though it was 2, but today we saw a new bottom one and 2 on the top beside her two front ones are getting ready to poke on through! She is going to have bunches before she turns 1!

Sophia is also pulling up on everything! She loves to stand and try to grab whatever is closest to her. She is also moving down the table and couch, holding on with one hand and 'walking' right along. Daddy is trying to get her to take steps to him, but she is scared and will not let go of the end table. She has gotten so fast when she is crawling, we can't turn our backs for a second! Sophia babbles all the time- mostly saying daa-daa, goos and gaas. I can't wait to hear the maa-maa!!

As we were leaving the doctor today, he said~ Next time I will see you, Sophia will be a year! Oh MY GOSH!!!! Hard to believe time has gone by so quickly! We are so blessed with such a sweet, cute, healthy baby!

Happy Halloween!!!!

Morgan didn't want to give up her pumpkin, which really upset Sophie!

All this trick or treating really wore me out!!!

The best one I could get of all 3 looking kind of close to the camera.

Sophie crawls anywhere she wants now! She is all over the place.

First time I caught her pulling up on something. Guess she is ready to watch a movie...

Boyd's Orchard which will be so much more fun next year!

Movin' on!!!!

What a Week for Sophia!!!! She has changed so much this week it is crazy!!! As you all know, Sophia has been crawling for a while~ at least her version of crawling. This week she has mastered the real crawl, and wants to go everywhere. She is obsessed with the curtains in the living room and we have had to rig them so she can't reach them. She has also mastered sitting up from being on her belly- seems like that happened overnight. I saw her do it one time at Nana's house, then all the sudden she is doing it all the time. Everywhere she goes, she smiles and squeals in delight- it is the cutest. Lots of times she doens't want anything to do with me or Daddy, she would rather crawl around to the nearest toy she thinks is cool!! Last night, she pulled up on a basket in the living room to see what was in there. Wonderful, fun times at the Williams' house!!!

This weekend she will dressing up! I will post some pictures as soon as we get some :)

Daddy's Big Adventure

As many of you know, Marty bought a kayak and has been on a couple of short trips here and there. This week Daddy went to Charlotte, North Carolina to meet Uncle Led for a relaxing mini vacation. Mommy and Sophia stayed at home since it was not going to be the best time for baby Sophia to make a long road trip. In Charlotte, there is a US training center for kayakers~ the Olympic team trains here for the games. It boasts the largest man made river in the States and has Class 3 and Class 4 rapids. The park is awesome ~ it is over 400 acres and has biking trails, zip lines, white water rafting, just to name a few activities. Marty had a great time, but Mommy and Sophie are soooo happy he is back at home with us. Check out the pics!

So Funny!!!!

Sophie is growing like a weed! She is so much more aware of her surroundings than before. It truly is amazing. She watches our every move. If we leave the room, she cries for us to return. If she drops something on the floor, she looks to see where it fell. She is also getting scared of certain things- like Daddy with shaving cream on his face and the vacuum cleaner. She seems to have perfected the army crawl as well, however, still loves to roll around the room which is her main mode of transportation.
